Brodoclea Woodland Farm, located in North Ayrshire near Dalry, spans 174 hectares of thriving woodland and diverse ecosystems. Our farm is dedicated to sustainable agriculture and ecological restoration, providing a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the positive impact of agroforestry practices.
Discover Our Award-Winning Farm
Brodoclea is a living example of the power of integrating trees, crops, and animals to build resilient ecosystems. With over 33,000 trees planted, 15,000 square meters of wildflower-rich wetland and meadow enhancement, and more than 15,000 square meters of mature woodland being carefully managed, our farm is at the forefront of nature restoration. The farm is home to over 60 bird species, many of which are of high conservation concern, making Brodoclea a sanctuary for wildlife.
David Carruth, our expert tour guide and Young Farm Woodland Young People's Award winner, will walk you through this award-winning farm. Brodoclea recently won the Best Agroforestry Award 2024, a testament to the innovative and sustainable practices at the heart of the farm.
During your visit, you’ll have the chance to see firsthand how our woolly pigs, our ecological restoration engineers—help maintain the land, along with other aspects of our agroforestry enterprise that combine livestock, crops, and trees to create exceptionally productive ecosystems.
